Products & services: The process of qualifying for a professional engineer license (PE) begins with a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited program. The next step is to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Many students wait to complete their undergraduate programs before considering the FE exam, we at School of PE encourage students to take the exam while they are still undergraduates.
The FE exam covers many of the concepts that students learn in their undergraduate engineering courses. In fact, according to the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), the FE exam is designed for students nearing the completion of their undergraduate degrees in accredited programs as well as recent graduates.
At the School of PE, we understand the challenges that undergraduates face when preparing to make their debut in the professional world. We strive to meet their challenges as part of our commitment to providing lifelong learning opportunities.
We offer students:
An undergraduate discount:
School of PE recognizes that many undergraduates have tight budgets. We provide an undergraduate discount of $300 for students seeking to prepare for the FE exam. Students will need to show proof of full-time enrollment in an accredited program to qualify for this discount.
A variety of FE exam review courses:
We provide review courses for different FE exams including; FE chemical, FE industrial, FE electrical, FE Civil, FE Mechanical, FE environment, and FE Other(General). Whichever is your chosen subject area of specialization, we’ll provide you with the guidance you need to achieve your professional goals.
Expert instructors:
Our review courses offer students access to instructors with years of practical experience in their respective industry. Students will have the opportunity to see how what they are learning can be applied in the real world.
The opportunity to sharpen their skills and gain confidence:
Many undergraduates suffer from a lack of assurance in their abilities as engineers. The FE exam can be an overwhelming task. Our courses are designed to help sharpen skills for passing the FE exam and in the workplace. Our Practice Portal gives students the chance to review what they have learned. We provide students with practice problems similar to those that they will encounter in their FE exam. School of PE students will take their FE exams with confidence.
Many people ask us when the best time is to take the FE exam. Our answer is always the same: during the senior year of your undergraduate degree or as soon as possible after graduation. If you’re an undergraduate and want to take the FE exam, take advantage of our early registration discount to kick-start your professional career.
