Founded in 1970 by Al Robbins, ASKCO is an industrial representative-distributor firm operating in Texas, Oklahoma, and Mexico. ASKCO specializes in instrumentation and control of general manufacturing processes. Plastic machinery, heat treating, furnace, food, boiler, brick, utilities, chemical and petrochemical applications are the major markets served. We direct our focus to plant engineering, research, production, and maintenance operations. The Houston office is located three minutes from Hobby Airport and supports mutliple sales engineers, service technicians and an administrative staff. Our facility includes more than 3,000 square feet of warehouse space, a service shop with the necessary test equipment for analog and digital instrument repair, calibration and certification. Two floors of office space add 3,000 more square feet and a conference room with audio-visual and overhead presentation equipment. Our central inventory contains over 3,000 line items and a database of approximately 8,000 special customer items. The administrative staff manages open lines of credit for over 2,500 companies and handles 500 invoices monthly.
