The company frequently manufactures moldings to accurately replicate historic molding or millwork in historic buildings. We can replicate most smooth turnings including balusters, newels, spindles, and other stair and porch components. Other turned items include kitchen island legs, table legs, and novelty items such as mini-baseball bats. Items are available by custom order in most domestic hardwoods including Poplar, Red and White Oak, Maple, Cherry, Ash, Hickory, Walnut, Alder, Birch and in select imported species. In addition to solid hardwood moldings and finger-jointed moldings, the company also fabricates edge glued panels and butcher block tops. Stair components including stair treads and risers, straight and bending handrails in a variety of sizes and shapes, and nosings are available by the piece or in bulk quantity pricing. Our cut to length and resaw programs minimize waste in many product lines. Sanding of flat-stock items is available for items of up to 36 inches. Dimensional lumber is sold in nominal sizes ranging from 1 x 1 through 1 x 12. Thicker surfaced lumber is available by custom order. The custom millwork shop produces profiled circular casements for arched windows, curved stair components, wood keystones, corbels, crown corner blocks, and numerous common and one-of-a-kind items.
