After much prayer and conversations with family and friends, today I’m declaring my candidacy to represent Georgia’s 6th Congressional District. I’m running because I believe the District needs to retain the type of representation that truly understands the interests and aspirations of its diverse population. We have new challenges and new opportunities; and in order to move forward, we must do so in the best interest of our community. I bring the type of perspective that is based on a winning, successful strategy that I gained through my personal life experiences. Along the way, I became a three-time author, published 16 kids’ books in two different languages, and raised my family. As a member of Congress, I will work to open new paths to success and make existing paths easier to travel. I’m not interested in pointing fingers ? I’m interested in solving problems. That means improving education opportunities, enabling the private industry to create more jobs, empowering entrepreneurs to create businesses, and removing senseless roadblocks to individual success. I’ve done that in the NFL. I’ve done that in business. I’ve done that in Georgia. I will do that in Washington! On NFL Experience "I was one of the 1st Round Draft picks in the NFL.
